The Glass Light restaurant is a luxe, 40-seat dining space adorned by backlit wall art and a pair of human-sized bunny sculptures, plus a cheese cart made from antique furniture and charcuterie sliced on a meat-cutter in front of one of the windows. Its globe-trotting executive chef, Serge Gouloumes, has cooked in Los Angeles for “show biz stars” like Michael Douglas, and for heads of state at a French Riviera restaurant, La Candille, where he cooked for 13 years and in 2005 earned an elusive Michelin star, one of the highest honors a French chef can achieve.
