July 8, 2016
5:00 - 9:00 pm
Town Point Park, Norfolk
(Free and open to the public)
Think of it as tapping into an extended happy hour or the best kickoff imaginable to a great weekend. Either way, the place to be on Friday, July 8th is the 6th annual Summer BrewFest at Town Point Park on the Downtown Norfolk Waterfront.
There will be great music, delicious food, and even some wine if that is what you are into. But first, a word from some experts:
“You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline - it helps if you have some kind of football team, or some nuclear weapons, but in the very least you need a beer.”
- Frank Zappa
“If God had intended us to drink beer, He would have given us stomachs.”
- David Daye
“He was a wise man who invented beer.”
At the Summer BrewFest, you’ll have a chance to sample a wide variety of summer beers from a selection of local, regional, national and international breweries. Taste the best that Virginia brewers have to offer. Then sip the suds from other fine brewers from coast to coast and beyond. It will be a beer lovers paradise.
Admission to the Summer BrewFest is free while beer sampling tickets will be available for purchase.
