The Slover Library is located in beautiful downtown Norfolk on the corner of Plume and Atlantic Street near MacArthur Center and the MacArthur Memorial. In 2008, Frank Batten Sr., former CEO and chairman of Landmark Communications, donated $20 million for the construction of a new main library to be named after his uncle and former Norfolk Mayor, Col. Samuel Slover. The spectacular outcome of the Slover library is a newly praised Norfolk landmark.

Town Point Park is located in historical Downtown Norfolk is nestled on the riverbanks of the breathtaking Elizabeth River. The eight acres of outdoor space is an ideal location to kick back, read a book, and enjoy the view.
