d'ART Center Presents the Haunted Gallery d’Owntown  Halloween Bash

Norfolk, VA –  On Saturday, October 26, from 8pm – Midnight the d’ART Center will host the first ever Haunted Gallery d’OWNTOWN Halloween Bash - a spooktacular experience like no other! 

d’ART will morph from colorful art studios to the dark world of downtown’s Haunted Gallery. Guys and Ghouls will delight as they descend into d’Arkness through 30-foot walls of webs, evading the fangs of the 15’ vampire bat hovering above the dance floor.

Inspiring transformation, the Haunted Gallery features a Halloween Costume Contest awarding  a $500 Cash Prize for the most imaginative attire. Guests are encouraged to discard their suits for capes, don wigs and fangs and embrace their inner macabre. Specters will dance up a storm to the non-stop grooves of Hampton Road’s best dance band, The Janitors. Delivering music from Motown to Thriller, this band provides an eclectic mix for young and young at heart.

d’ART’s Haunted Gallery FUNd-raiser is a creative collaboration partnering with numerous downtown businesses and organizations. Seven Venues, Hurrah Players and Virginia Stage embellish the evening’s unique décor. Neighbor d’EGG Diner delivers themed spirits, Studio Posy provides imaginative flowers and Chartreuse Bistro introduces their organic crudo to the evening’s patrons! As an added treat O’Connor Brewery showcases their Limited Edition fall libations: Punkelweisse and Bells Beach Saison.

Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 on 10/26/13, or a $100 4-pack of VIP Tickets with Reserved Seating. This fund-raiser is open to ages 18+, and features a Cash Bar.
