The Hermitage Museum & Gardens kicks off its expanded 2015 concert series, Sunsets on the River, with popular local band Sharkophagus on May 14. Powered by 96x, the series continues every other Thursday through July for a total of six concerts.
At Sunsets on the River, musicians from across Hampton Roads perform on the back lawn of the Hermitage alongside the Lafayette River. Local food trucks, a cash bar featuring Smartmouth Beer and wine, and independent station 96x will be on site at each event. Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets and each event will feature a free kids activity. Admission is free for museum members and children under 12 and just $10 for non-members. No outside alcohol is permitted.
