Norfolk Festevents has announced the array of entertainment that will perform in Town Point Park during the 39th Annual Norfolk Harborfest®, starting Friday, June 5 through Sunday, June 7.
All concerts are free and open to the public.
For three memorable days, the Downtown Norfolk Waterfront transforms into an exciting playground for people of all ages. The historic waterfront festival offers a weekend packed with exciting activities on land and sea.
Norfolk Harborfest® includes tall ships and the largest Fireworks Show on the East Coast, local, regional and national entertainment, family activities, unique and unusual performances, water activities and much more.

Friday, June 5
While The band's name comes from a crossroads just outside of Denton, TX, Mingo has long since extended its reach onto the national music scene where the band intermingles fresh takes on songs from their extensive catalog with their twist on a few select soul standards.
Robert Randolph & the Family Band
First gaining national attention with the release of the album Live at the Wetlands in 2002, the band followed with three studio recordings over the next eight years. Randolph's prowess on his instrument garnered him a spot on Rolling Stone's "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" list.

Morris Day and The Time
With his dynamic dancing and smooth yet gutsy, vocals, Morris Day played an essential role in the development of the Twin City dance/club sound of the 1980s. A founding member of Prince's band, the Time, in 1981, he remained with the group until 1984 when he launched his solo career.

Plain White T’s
The band that kicked off its career in the Chicago suburbs, playing a mix of pop, punk, and melody driven rock & roll in basements and clubs has gone on to play several thousand shows and release a string of platinum-selling singles, including the mega-hit "Hey There Delilah” - the 18th most downloaded song of all time.
Having spent the last year playing to sold out venues from coast to coast, the six piece rock band from Durham, NC, is sure to perform fan favorites and songs from its sophomore album After It All, coming out in April.
