With the dedication of “Metalmatisse by Electroland”, Norfolk’s exciting and diverse public art scene takes a decidedly electric turn. The interactive light and sound installation is located at MacArthur Square, near the Tide light rail station.

This latest installation is just one of many strategically placed art projects spread throughout the city to energize our public spaces, arouse our thinking and transform the places where we live, work and play into more welcoming, beautiful and interactive communities.

Established in 2006, Norfolk Cultural Affairs seeks to create a rich, diverse, environment that reflects, celebrates and invites all to experience the arts. We seek to give voice to our community and strive to unite, energize, prompt dialogue, and inspire the unique character of Norfolk.
