Hope House Foundation announces the Stockley Gardens Fall Arts Festival presented by TowneBank; a two-day event featuring approximately 130 artists displaying and selling their works. This year’s Stockley Gardens Fall Arts Festival will be held October 15 & 16, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
The Stockley Gardens Park provides a unique atmosphere for the festival with its garden setting in the heart of the historic district in Ghent. The festival attracts more than 25,000 people who enjoy the art, live music, an array of food and the community atmosphere every spring and fall. Artists come from across the United States and as far away as Israel to participate in the festival.
The weekend includes a line-up of musical entertainment, a variety of food vendors, community row with area nonprofit organizations and children’s activities.
Artist awards will be announced during the artist reception on Saturday, October 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. Admission is free. The event includes a cash bar and live music.
Stockley Gardens Fall Arts Festival is also sponsored by Mancon, Inc., Capital Group Companies, and Miller’s Neighborhood Markets. Media sponsors include Sinclair Group, Veer Magazine, Coastal Virginia Magazine, and WHRO.
