Take a trip to Chelsea, Norfolk’s new trending district, for the 4th Annual Chelsea West Fest on October 1, 2016.  Chelsea, a neighborhood in historic West Ghent, has been thriving as of recent, due to the input of entrepreneurs and local businesses. The daylong celebration will be featuring local musicians, crafters, breweries, and restaurants in the area. There will be activities for kids including hula hooping with Carrie Criddle, and face painting along with balloon animals by Bobby the Clown. Proceeds from Chelsea West Fest will support the programs at Hope House Foundation. Since 1964, Hope House Foundation has worked on the frontline of the battle for independence, community, an inclusion and true citizenship for people with developmental disabilities. . The festival runs from 12-6pm, at the intersection of Orapax Street and Boissevain Avenue, make sure you stop by to see what Chelsea is all about and support this thriving district!
