NORFOLK, Va. – (Sept. 13, 2010) – The USS Ranger CV- 4 Reunion Group will host a reunion in Norfolk, Virginia September 21 – 26, 2010 at the Hilton Norfolk Airport Hotel.  Chief of Staff, Stephen Baxter, and the reunion group extend an invitation to the public and all those who have served on the USS Ranger CV- 4, to experience the contributions CV – 4 made to the history of naval aviation.

“It’s a great opportunity to bring these veterans and their families and friends to their first home port of Norfolk where they answered their country’s call to serve in the US Navy during World War II,” states Baxter. The CV- 4 aims to keep the memory alive of the first U.S. naval vessel designed and built from the keel up to be an aircraft carrier.
