Byrd & Baldwin Brothers, located in beautiful downtown Norfolk, serves only grain-fed Midwestern, all natural beef that is aged in-house to ensure quality. The restaurant is located in a building circa 1906 that was in fact called Byrd & Baldwin Bros. Among steak, Byrd & Baldwin Brothers take pride in their extensive wine selection. Their wines are all kept in a temperature and humidity controlled cellar to ensure the wine’s perfect condition.
Texas de Brazil, located in the MacArthur Center in downtown Norfolk, brings Brazilian flavor and flare to every cut of steak that they serve. The Brazilian restaurant features all-you-can-eat grilled meats, including steak, that are carved tableside! Why choose one when you can try it all? Have a bit of Sirloin, Flank Steak and Filet Mignon at Texas de Brazil, hey, even have seconds!
Gershwins, located in the heart of the theater district on Granby Street in downtown Norfolk, sets the mood and takes you back to Manhattan in the 30’s/40’s. There is live entertainment nightly, usually something along the lines of Sinatra or Cole Porter. The upscale bistro includes swanky servers dressed in tuxedos with matching quality service. Their Steak Au Poivre, steak dish, features a NY Strip with Peppercorn Cream Sauce and crisp Pomme Frites! Yum.
Shula’s, located in the Norfolk Waterside Marriott, wants to show you “The Shula Cut”. At Shula’s they cut their meats to perfection and ensure a prime cut for every steak. Their steaks are imported from The Graham Angus Farm in Albany, GA, and are notably one of the best Angus farms in the country. Angus beef is known as the most tender of all cattle, and have exquisite taste.
