Bolia Matundu, professionally known as BM, is a Congolese-born, British singer-songwriter, producer, and performer whose kinetic blend of Ndombolo, Afropop, and contemporary pop has sparked global dance moments and millions of streams. Born in Kinshasa and raised in South London from age seven, BM first broke out in the UK co-founding DRT and releasing “Get Mad Now,” later featured in a Specsavers campaign.
Beyond records and stages, BM is the co-creator and music producer of the viral online dating show Pop the Balloon or Find Love, which he builds with his wife and host, Arlette Amuli – a natural extension of his mission to make culture that brings people together. Today, BM continues to craft high-energy records, direct visuals, and lead live experiences that turn stories into sound, and audiences into communities.
