Community Conversations: Improving Accessibility

June 21 2025

10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Jordan-Newby Anchor Branch 1425 Norchester Ave. Norfolk, VA 23504
The City of Norfolk invites you to a Community Conversation focused on the accessibility of city services for individuals with disabilities.

Help us identify barriers that may prevent participation for people with disabilities and guide our plans to enhance accessibility for everyone.

During the event, community members can learn about the project and share their opinions on the accessibility of City facilities, programs, and services.

This meeting kicks off an important update to the city’s Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan.

Event moderator: Adrienne Gardner, City of Norfolk ADA coordinator.

Saturday, June 21

10:00 – 11:30 a.m.

Jordan-Newby Anchor Branch Library

1425 Norchester Ave.

*If you need assistance, such as reasonable accommodations or language support, to participate in this Community Conversation, please contact Norfolk Cares at (757) 664-6510 or email HealthyNeighborhoods@norfolk.gov.
