Courtney Marie Andrews: North Shore Point at Smartmouth

Grammy Nominated Courtney Marie Andrews makes her first Norfolk appearance.
There's no voice as emotive, as aching, as true as that of Courtney Marie Andrews . She writes inciteful poetry and then brings it to life with songs that make you pause and press play again. Please give the samples a listen.
Andrews was a Grammy finalist this year for Best Americana Album losing to Lucinda Williams, some pretty good company. Among the other finalists were North Shore alum, Hiss Golden Messenger. She will be with a full band. VIP tickets will guarantee you a seat.
Listen to her on Jools Holland's show doing "Table for One."
Check out "It Must Be Someone Else's Fault"
"May Your Kindness Remain."
"Two Cold Nights in Buffalo."
Her latest was born after a nine-year relationship ended. "Breaking up is hard to to do, but at least Andrews’ has given us these exquisite songs," wrote a reviewer.
"I’m a woman alone in the world, but happy to know herself," she says.
