2026 will be a year of firsts for the ERT Foundation, so let’s start the year off together with an inaugural ERT First Day Hike! Join our Executive Director, Kindra Greene, as she leads a New Year’s day morning hike at the Lambert’s Point Open Space. 
Park in the designated Lambert’s Point Open Space free visitor parking spaces in Lot 43 of ODU’s campus and meet Kindra in front of the clubhouse. We’ll provide a brief overview of the space and lead the group through two circuits over the route, approximately 2.25 miles.
This is a great opportunity to explore Norfolk’s only hills, (excellent exercise for improving bone density), catch beautiful views of the Elizabeth River, meet new people, and to set intentions for the new year. We’ll provide hot cocoa and coffee to toast to the New Year at Norfolk’s highest point! 
For those wishing to complete just one circuit, we will pass by the parking lot.
Dress for the weather, bring a travel coffee cup and reusable water bottle.
