Glass Poetry
Wednesday, February 24th at 6 p.m. EST
Glassblowing and poetry meet in this virtual program. Watch artists from the Perry Glass Studio respond to selections from Carnets de Couleurs (Notebooks of Colors) with molten glass. As the artists work, Quebec poets Diane Régimbald, Louise Dupré, and Denise Desautels will read the poems in French. Dr. Peter Schulman, Professor of World Languages & Cultures at Old Dominion University, will translate them. The poets and artists will host a brief Q&A following each reading.
Registration is required. The Zoom link will be sent with the confirmation email.
