The Hampton Roads Naval Museum’s Annex aboard Naval Station Norfolk will host an engaging historical program entitled “Voyage of a Lifetime: The Great White Fleet, 1907-1909.” The program is presented by their Registrar, Katherine Renfrew.
The program is scheduled for Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 1000 and again at 1300. The presentation will be held at their Annex at Building H-9 aboard Naval Station Norfolk, which is located at the corner of Farragut Avenue and Powhatan Street. The building is directly across the street from historic McClure Field, the nation’s second oldest brick baseball stadium. The physical address is 9643 Farragut Avenue, Norfolk, Virginia 23511.
This program is open to all hands, both military and civilian. Access to Naval Station Norfolk is required; museum staff members or volunteers cannot sponsor visitors onto the facility for this presentation.
