Norfolk is proud to be the home of the world’s largest Naval Station and while visiting, be sure to take a tour of the base. On the guided tour, you’ll see aircraft carriers, destroyers, amphibious assault ships, and learn about the history of Naval Station Norfolk.
The Naval Station offers 45-minute tours year-round that are conducted by naval personnel. Tours depart from the Naval Station Norfolk Tour & Information Center located at 9079 Hampton Blvd. next to gate 5. The cost (cash only) is $10 for adults and $5 for children 3-11, and senior citizens over the age of 60. A picture ID is required for all adults over the age of 18. Foreign travelers must present a passport as a means of identification. Please arrive 30 minutes early to the tour. Seats on the bus are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Charter Groups: Drivers and Private Escorts will need to show ID. Forms of ID that are not TSA compliant will need to show two forms of government-issued ID. The following states are not currently TSA compliant: Alaska, California, Idaho, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

April 2019 - September 2019
Five (5) tours daily, Monday-Sunday. Tours will depart at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m., and 2 p.m.
October 2019 - March 2020
Two (2) tours daily, Tuesday-Sunday. Tours will depart at 11 a.m. and noon. Tours will not run on Mondays or holidays.
