Norfolk is proud to be the home of the world’s largest Naval Station and while visiting, be sure to take a tour of the base. On the guided tour, you’ll see aircraft carriers, destroyers, amphibious assault ships, and learn about the history of Naval Station Norfolk.
The Naval Station offers 45-minute tours year round that are conducted by naval personnel. Tours depart from the Naval Station Norfolk Tour & Information Center located at 9079 Hampton Blvd. next to gate 5. The cost (cash only) is $10 for adults and $5 for children 3-11, and senior citizens over the age of 60. A picture ID is required for all adults over the age of 18. Foreign travelers must present a passport as a means of identification. Please arrive 30 minutes early to the tour. Seats on the bus are on a first come, first serve basis.
Charter Groups: Drivers and Private Escorts will need to show ID. Forms of ID that are not TSA compliant will need to show two forms of government issued ID. The following states are not currently TSA compliant: Alaska, California, Idaho, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

October 29, 2018 - March 16, 2019
One (1) tour a day, Tuesdays-Sunday. Tour will depart at 1:30 p.m. Tours will not run on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day or New Year's Day.
March 17, 2019 - October 28, 2019
Four (4) tours daily, Monday-Sunday. Tours will depart at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m., and 2 p.m.
