Breakfast and lunch are provided along with special lectures and educational resources. This teacher institute is free but registration is required. More details to come.

Want to use the sound studio for a musical recording, podcast, or other personal project? Join The Slover’s Creative Studios team for a group orientation first. During this orientation, you will become acclimated to our systems and equipment, learning how to safely operate our professional recording booth.
On May 8 at 10 a.m., officials from the City of Norfolk, Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA), Brinshore Development, Banc of America CDC, BBRM Norfolk Partners and residents will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the latest addition to the St. Paul’s Transformation Area, Unity Place at Kindred.

There will be a wreath-laying ceremony honoring fallen servicemembers prior to the parade and a community fair following it. Dubbed “The BIGGEST Little Parade in all of Norfolk,” this popular community event is sure to please and NPD will on hand engaging with the community.

NACC Volunteer and Community Outreach Coordinator, Rachel Crowell, will be throwing out the first pitch!
Dog tickets are $5 each and all proceeds go to Friends of Norfolk Animal Care Center to support the animals at NACC, adoption programs, and more. Humans must purchase their own tickets available in advance or at the gate.
