Nauticus - Battleship Wisconsin 1 Waterside Dr, Norfolk, VA 23510, Price: $8 per person

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced yogi, join Nauticus & Torch Yoga aboard the Battleship Wisconsin for a special Sunset Yoga class.

On Wednesday, August 5, from 6:30-7:45PM, Torch Yoga will lead a yoga practice on the deck of BB-64 for all levels that offers a unique opportunity to take your yoga practice in nature or just to try something new as you enjoy one of the best views of the sunset on the Elizabeth River.

Price: $8 per person. Must register in advance via the Torch Yoga website. To purchase tickets, visit this link!

All proceeds will directly benefit the Nauticus Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides interpretation and restoration of the Battleship Wisconsin and allows Nauticus to open new onboard spaces and experiential learning opportunities for students, families, and visitors.

Please bring your own yoga mat, towel, and water. We also recommend you wear sunscreen / bring sunglasses.

2026 Trail Beautification Days on the ERT

November 27 2026

3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Locations will be announced during the week before the event in the Trail Beautification Day Starts at Elizabeth River Trail, Price: Free
On the fourth Friday in the months of March to November, volunteers can join the Master Gardeners to help beautify the trail and learn more about the native plant species found along the trail!
– All skill levels welcome!
– Bring your own weeding tools and graden gloves if you can!
– Support the Trail
– Meet new people
– Learn about plants and plant care with local experts!
HOW TO PREPARE:
– Bring water. Some snacks and water will be available
– Dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather and working outside among the plants. Long pants (versus shorts) are highly recommended.
– Bring sun protection and bug spray if needed
QUESTIONS?

– You have questions or concerns about the location and/or work being done.
– You would like to register. This isn’t required, but it is helpful!
– You have a group that would like to join, but would need assistance with gardening tools/gloves.
