Join the Delta Beta Sigma Philos for a paint and sip fundraiser. This event will be in person with live instruction.

Paint kits cost $43 (plus tax) and include a presketched 11×14 canvas, paint, brushes, and apron—everything you need for an afternoon of fun and fellowship.

Part of the ticket sales will support NitaHand, a community based outreach organization dedicated to helping children with behavioral needs and lifting up women, mothers, children, and underserved families.

Did you know Virginia’s state fossil is the Chesapecten Jeffersonius? In this program you will hold real fossils excavated by one of our educators, learn about the fossilization process, and how fossils help us understand ecosystems and change over time—you will even create your own imprint and take home your own DIY recipe for creating fossils at home!

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced yogi, join Nauticus & Torch Yoga aboard the Battleship Wisconsin for a special Sunset Yoga class.

On Wednesday, May 6, from 6:30-7:30PM, Torch Yoga will lead a yoga practice on the deck of BB-64 for all levels that offers a unique opportunity to take your yoga practice in nature or just to try something new as you enjoy one of the best views of the sunset on the Elizabeth River.
