Pushing Dragons: An Improvised Dungeons and Dragons Adventure

May 23 2026

7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
The Push Comedy Theater 763 Granby Street Norfolk, VA 23510, Price: $16.00

Pushing Dragons isn’t your typical game night. It’s a full-blown stage spectacle where improv comedy collides with Dungeons & Dragons. Armed with stripped-down 5th Edition rules, the heroes of Push Comedy Theater dive headfirst into a one-of-a-kind quest, guided by chance, wit, and the mighty roll of a giant 20-sided die.

You’ll see battles, spells, and shenanigans come to life right on stage (and sometimes in the audience). Best of all, you help shape the story, rolling dice that decide the fate of our adventurers… and maybe even joining them in the quest.

Whether you’re a seasoned dungeon crawler or have never touched a character sheet, this show is for you.

And don’t just watch… come in your best cosplay and become part of the fantasy world. Wizards, rogues, barbarians, or bards… all are welcome on this epic, unpredictable journey.

Pushing Dragons is one of the hottest shows at the Push.  Tickets are $15 in advance. Re-Roll Tokens are $10.

WHAT ARE PUSHING DRAGON RE-ROLL TOKENS? After an unfortunate TPK, we are introducing Re-Roll Tokens. For $10, you can purchase a re-roll token. This allows you to re-roll a die (for either the monster or player) during the show. Did your favorite character fail a saving throw or fail a crucial skill check? With a Pushing Dragons Re-Roll Token, you can change the course of the adventure.

Pushing Dragons Re-Roll Tokens can be purchased online as an add-on to your ticket purchase, or at the front desk when you check in. During the show, ask the Dungeon Master for a re-roll. The Dice Wenches will collect your token and hand you a die. Let fate do the rest!

Unlock the Mysteries of the Spirit Realm: Message Circles

May 9 2026

7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Memorial Spiritualist Church 307 W. 37th Street Norfolk, VA 23508, Price: $20 per person for three mini-readings

Seeking guidance, reassurance, or a sense of spiritual connection, the message circle offers a transformative experience.

Unlock insight. Connect with Spirit. Share in the experience.

Join us for a special evening of spiritual connection in our monthly Message Circle — a welcoming space where Spiritualist mediums deliver short, meaningful messages from Spirit to each participant.

In this small-group setting, we begin with a moment of quiet reflection or prayer to center ourselves and open to the experience. Then, one by one, each person will receive three brief readings — often bringing comfort, clarity, or a spark of recognition from the unseen world.

You may hear from a loved one who has passed, receive a nudge from a spirit guide, or simply walk away with new perspective. No two circles are ever the same.

Whether you’re hoping for guidance or just curious about Spirit communication, this event offers an uplifting way to explore your spiritual path.

Cost: $20 per person for three mini-readings

Space is limited — reserve your spot early.

Labrinth: The Undoing Tour - Presented by the cosmic opera with Virginia Symphony Orchestra

April 27 2026

7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Chartway Arena 4320 Hampton Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23508, Price: 88.50

Labrinth will release Cosmic Opera: Act 2 on May 29, 2026, ushering in the next chapter of his expansive musical universe, followed by the highly anticipated Undoing Tour Presented by the Cosmic Opera—a seven-city U.S. run including Norfolk, Virginia, presented by Virginia Arts Festival and Chartway Arena.

Renowned for his boundless creativity and genre-defying sound, the British artist first burst onto the global stage with his 2012 debut Electric Earth, featuring the chart-topping hit “Beneath Your Beautiful.” Since then, Labrinth has collaborated with an extraordinary roster of artists including Sia, Diplo, Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, and The Weeknd, while earning critical acclaim—and multiple GRAMMY nominations and a win—for his work on HBO’s Euphoria.

Now, following the success of Cosmic Opera: Act 1, Labrinth continues his bold artistic journey with Act 2, further expanding a deeply introspective, cinematic soundscape that blends pop, R&B, hip-hop, electronic, rock, and orchestral influences. Hailed as “a fearless journey through his inner universe,” this project invites audiences into a fully immersive world of sound and storytelling. Experience the vision live this summer as Labrinth brings Cosmic Opera to the stage in an unforgettable concert event.

Co-presented with Chartway Arena.
