Step aboard the Battleship for a laid-back evening of live music with the Tiki Bar Band, featuring your favorite hits from Jimmy Buffett and more! Enjoy themed drinks, tasty bites, games and more all on the fantail!

Doors open for VIP at 5:30PM and General Admission at 6PM.

Must be ages 21+ to attend, ID will be verified upon arrival.

TICKETS ON SALE SOON — Member tickets live on May 4. General Public tickets live on May 11.

VIP: $65 (Early entry at 5:30PM + 2 free drink tickets)

General Admission: $35

8-Person VIP Table: $800 
Includes 8 VIP tickets, early entry at 5:30PM, 2 drink tickets per guest, and a dedicated server.

4-Person VIP Table: $400 
Includes 4 VIP tickets, early entry at 5:30PM, and 2 drink tickets per guest.

10-Person VIP Table + marketing benefits through sponsorship (Please contact development@nauticus.org for details)

Event Details:

Parking:

Parking is available in all downtown Norfolk garages. We recommend either West Plume or West Main Street garages for a quick stroll to Nauticus. No parking is available onsite at Nauticus. Uber/Lyft drop off is available in front loop.

Clear Bag Policy:

APPROVED BAGS
  • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC that do not exceed 16 x 16 x 8 inches.
  • Diaper Bags and Medical Bags are permitted, subject to search by security.
  • Small non-clear clutch bags measuring 5” x 7” x 3/4” or smaller, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the event.
NOT APPROVED BAGS
  • Backpacks, purses, grocery bags, camera bags, mesh bags, drawstring bags, duffle bags, patterned tote bags

Prohibited Items / Additional Policies

  • Containers larger than 16 x 16 x 8 inches, must be adhere to the above clear bag policy
  • Beach chairs/lawn chairs / personal chairs
  • Illegal weapons
  • Outside food, beverages and coolers (one sealed water bottle per person is permitted)
  • Animals (service animals allowed on site under the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) that comply with additional identification requirements of Virginia Law)
  • Laser pointers/pens
  • Beach balls
  • Umbrellas
  • Any item deemed dangerous or inappropriate by venue personnel.
Additional policies:
  • Alcoholic beverages will be available for sale to patrons with ID proof of age of 21 and older.  Sales will end at 8pm.  Staff reserves the right to deny the sale of alcoholic beverages to any patron.
  • Show is Rain or Shine, more details to follow in case of inclement weather.
  • Smoking is prohibited at Nauticus, this includes but is not limited to cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vapes, etc.

July 7, 1944, was when the WisKy left Norfolk, VA, for the first time for her shakedown cruise. Celebrate the date with the Navy’s favorite treat- ice cream! Participants will make their own bagged ice cream and can hear stories of why the ice cream and the Navy go hand in hand.

Rhythm Project Showcase at Perry Pavilion

Get ready to be amazed by the infectious energy and talent of the Virginia Arts Festival’s Rhythm Project! This world percussion ensemble of elementary- through high school-age musicians from across Hampton Roads brings steel pan music to life with joyful spirit, precision, and vibrant sound.
For 29 years, Rhythm Project has empowered young people through music, teaching discipline, responsibility, teamwork, and creativity as students learn to perform together. Their remarkable performers have opened for legendary artists like Gladys Knight, shared the stage with international steel pan stars, and appeared at prestigious venues including the Kennedy Center and the Royal Nova Scotia and Virginia International Tattoos.
Bring the whole family for an uplifting evening of rhythm, movement, and music that’s impossible to resist.
