Help Plant a Wetland - Norfolk

Do something beautiful by assisting Elizabeth River Project staff with planting a living shoreline! Living shorelines are a crucial piece to a healthy Elizabeth River by providing habitat for critters and creating a buffer for flooding. All supplies will be provided for you, though waders and muck boots are encouraged if you have them. A water bottle and sunscreen are also encouraged.

 

Once registered, a staff member will reach out to confirm your shift and include full location address. NOTE: PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL TO GET FULL ADDRESS INFORMATION

Volunteers will be notified within 24 hours of shift if any changes or cancellations have been made due to weather or tides.
