Taste of India is one of the largest Asian Indian Festivals in Virginia attracting about 7,000 to 10,000 people each year. It is a collaborative effort of hundreds of Indians living in Hampton Roads in order to share the heritage with residents of Hampton Roads. It is on one of the most popular cultural single-day events organized by any ethnic group in the region. This year’s event features lively entertainment with colorful Bollywood and classical dances, Indian cuisine and vendor booths, Indian clothing and crafts, kids’ carnival games and henna hand painting. There will also be a yoga demonstration, Bhangra and fusion dances, Fabrics to Fashion and a local dance competition.
