In tandem with the d’Art Center’s Delectable Exhibition, Chef Syd Meers is teaching a cooking class at his cafe on East Main Street! The day will start with a brief introduction to the d’Art Center’s mission followed by a tour of the d’Art Center’s installation at Hilton Norfolk The Main nearby. During the cooking class, each group will be “hands on” in preparation of the meal and taught techniques by Syd. Attendees will eat the meal and can also bring containers to take home what is not eaten. A cookbook will also be made and provided to the attendees.
