The d’Art Center will be offering (3) free digital art portfolio workshops in March, April, and May 2025 for (30) 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹. This program will assist students in assembling a digital art portfolio for college applications and/or for art career applications.
𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲:
• Two art critiques for students to analyze, reflect, and evaluate their peers’ works
• Creating a digital art portfolio to send with college or career applications
Each workshop session will be spread over 4 Saturdays for the selected month and the time frame will be 1-4pm.
𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 (𝟭) 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 (𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝟰 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀).
Location: Classroom at d’Art Center on 740 Boush Street in Norfolk, VA
With help from the City of Norfolk and their 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘐𝘮𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘊𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘊𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 (𝘗𝘐𝘊𝘊) 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘵, the d’Art Center is able to bring back free programming for our community, but we need your help to gather some information required by the grant to meet our goal in 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀, this information will be included in the registration form.
This workshop is free and open to Junior and Seniors in high school, but you must RSVP as space is limited! Please arrive on time.
