Norfolk Community Services Board Prevention Services, in partnership with Virginia Stage Company and Booker T. Washington High School Academy of the Arts presents “Every Brilliant Thing,” a moving and humorous one-character play that explores depression, resilience and the small joys that make life worth living!

Join in this powerful and uplifting Mental Health Awareness Month event presented by Norfolk CSB Prevention Services in partnership with Virginia Stage Company and Booker T. Washington Academy of the Arts.

Every Brilliant Thing is a moving and humorous one-character play that explores depression, resilience and the small joys that make life worth living.

Event highlights include:

  • Every Brilliant Thing performance by Virginia Stage Company.
  • Special performance by Booker T. Washington Academy of the Arts theatre students.
  • Student artwork by Booker T. Washington Academy of the Arts visual arts students on display.
  • Local mental health partners and community resources available on site throughout the event.
