Join us in welcoming our new pride of lions with a Housewarming Party for Ansel, Asha, and Kali who now call the Virginia Zoo home. Relocating from the mid-west, the trio are acclimating to their new habitat – and each other – and are ready to meet all the eager Zoo Fans.
Ansel, Asha, and Kali will take turns spending time on exhibit where visitors can see the trio and hear their stories during Keeper Chats at 11 am and 1 pm. Meet Trail Hosts and participate in enriching fun activities for all ages. No housewarming is complete without a few gifts to make them feel at home. The lion’s Keepers have picked out a few new toys and exhibit furnishings that Zoo fans can purchase or donate toward.
