Kids Book Club: The Treasure Hunt — 6-Week Reading & Purpose-Building Experience

Join us for a fun, meaningful, and interactive 6-week Kids Book Club for ages 9–13 hosted by Kevin Brown, self-published author of 8 novels.

This book club is designed to help young readers build confidence, think deeply, express themselves, and begin discovering their purpose. Each week, students will read through The Treasure Hunt together, participate in group discussions, and answer reflection questions created to help them better understand who they are, what they believe, and the gifts they carry inside.

The experience begins with a Vision Board Party during Week 1, where kids will dream big, set goals, and create a visual reminder of who they are becoming. For the remaining weeks, participants will read two chapters each Saturday, with each chapter including two interactive questions to guide reflection and conversation.

Kids will have the opportunity to share their answers, listen to others, and engage in positive discussions in a safe and encouraging environment. Food and drinks will be provided each week.

This book club is free for kids who are Medicaid recipients and qualify. For more information, text 757-559-6022.

This is more than a book club — it’s a space for kids to read, reflect, grow, and believe in themselves.
