Cruise Information

May 2024 Update: Please note that the weekend of May 4-5 will see several events converging on downtown Norfolk. Carnival Pride will return to Norfolk on Sunday, May 5. The annual VSAE conference will be in town May 5-7, while the Spring Wine Festival is set for May 4-5. See this map for street closures during this time.

On Sunday May 5th, the Spring Town Point Wine Festival will take place in the park next to the Norfolk Cruise Terminal (11am-6pm). Waterside Drive will be closed to traffic; personal vehicles or for-hires (Uber, Lyft, Taxi, etc.) will NOT be able to drop-off on Waterside Dr. For cruise passengers embarking Carnival Pride, we suggest passengers be dropped off at Cedar Grove Parking lot (1000 Monticello Ave), where you can check your luggage and it will be sent directly to the Terminal(REMEMBER TO TAKE YOUR TRAVEL DOCUMENTS OUT OF YOUR CHECKED LUGGAGE) Then passengers can take the shuttle service (no fee) that will drop off curbside at the Terminal. ADA shuttle service (with a lift) is also offered from Cedar Grove.

Cedar Grove Parking lot opens at 10am; the first shuttle departs for the Terminal at 11:15am; the Terminal opens at 11:30am.

Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway, a group travel excursion or a family trip, be sure to check out the great selection of scheduled international cruises departing from Downtown Norfolk. With our convenient location in the Mid-Atlantic, the midpoint along the Eastern Seaboard, cruising into or out of Norfolk’s harbor couldn’t be easier!
