Club Cultivate was created in partnership with the City of Norfolk and the Nourish the City Grant. This grant exists to provide non-profits funding in order to organize and create Urban Agriculture spaces that will provide access to nutritious foods and address food insecurity throughout the city of Norfolk.
The goal of Club Cultivate is to prepare and care for spaces that encourage the growth, development, and improvement of community members’ lives and relationships by way of Urban Agriculture. Garden experience or plant knowledge are not required, but are welcome! Training and workshops will be provided.
Team members should commit to at least two (2) Club Cultivate work days per month and attend quarterly training sessions.
All May work days (27th, 28th, and 31st) will be located at the Lambert’s Point Microfarm green space along the ERT.
Parking is located at the ERT- Lambert’s Point Trailhead.
