Humanities Behind Bars Presents Juneteenth 2026 Jubilee

Join us on Juneteenth to celebrate Black resistance, freedom, and resilience. Together, we will explore the deep roots of resistance and freedom in Norfolk’s rich past, resilient present, and hopeful future. Using archival materials, we will tell a story of freedom and the grassroots efforts that made it possible, while building community through games, raffles, food, and laughter.
