Norfolk's Holiday Gift Guide

Norfolk is a one-stop shop for all your holiday gift-buying needs this season. From the locally-focused Selden Market to Norfolk Premium Outlets and all the small businesses in between, Norfolk has plenty of options. We’ve rounded up some of the most unique Norfolk gifts shops for this holiday season!

For All Handkind

Founded by three artists, For All Handkind was started with a mission to support new and emerging makers and their practice by giving them a platform to sell their handmade goods. You’ll find ornaments, home decor, jewelry, vases, drink ware, skincare, paper goods and wearable art. Another cool perk is that 5 percent of each artists’ sales are donated to a nonprofit of their choice. For All Handkind is located at MacArthur Center on the second floor.

Kitsch

If you need something charmingly eclectic, locally crafted and absolutely unique, you’ll find it at Kitsch. Located in Ghent, Kitsch sells loads of fun jewelry, greeting cards and posters, candles, home decor, ornaments and so much more. You’re sure to find something for everyone on your list, including you.

Lorak Jewelry

Lorak has jewelry that is handcrafted in the heart of Norfolk and is owned by talented artist and designer Anna Lorich Akers. Each piece of jewelry is recognizable and inspired by Anna’s passion for textiles, ancient Greco Roman and Egyptian artifacts and the clean lines found in Scandinavian design. Anna is a true artisan and will help you find the perfect ring, necklace, bracelet or earrings to give extra sparkle for your special someone.

NFK Brew Hop Pass

Know someone who loves exploring new beer gardens or a diehard brewery-goer who patiently awaits for new beer releases? Gift them the NFK Brew Hop Pass, the perfect gift for any hops enthusiast. A three-day pass will allow recipients to experience multiple breweries throughout our city at their own speed. Passes are delivered through text and email, and are instantly redeemable!

Perry Glass Studio

The best and most meaningful gifts are often the homemade ones. This year, craft your own glass-blown ornament to give as a gift. The Perry Glass Studio offers glass blowing classes year-round, but during the holiday season, they conduct a special class to make ornaments. Bring Norfolk’s love for glass art home with you with a special creation you can give to a special someone.

Prince Ink

Prince Ink is by no means your typical, touristy T-shirt store. They specialize in old-fashioned screen printing using handcrafted, high quality products. All of their apparel is one-of-a-kind with distinct designs and immense attention to detail. They’ve got Norfolk and Virginia T-shirts and hats, artisan playing cards, pins, totes, journals, patches, posters and more. Plus, they can take on custom projects. T-shirts are what they’re most known for, but they can also print on just about anything. Shop their store online or in person, or swing by our Visitor Center to pick up one of their custom-made items.

Texture of Ghent

One of Ghent’s original, locally-owned shops, Texture carries the work of more than 200 artisans from around the world in one adorable store. The collection of specially curated items at Texture is always evolving and changing, but you can be sure to find something artisan-made, standout and special at this cute boutique.

VisitNorfolk Mermaid Market

Don’t forget to browse the many wares in our very own Mermaid Market, located in the Visitor Center. Our collection is always changing but keeps a focus on Norfolk- and Virginia-centric items. You’ll find apparel and accessories, gifts for kids, home goods, drink accessories, books and mermaids in every form. Plus, with an in-person visit, we’ll be happy to give you more recommendations on Norfolk shops you simply can’t miss this holiday season.

Werther leather goods

When it comes to quality leather products, Werther is the place to go. The shop started in 2011 with a focus on hand-stitched wallets and now carries a full of line of leather goods in Selden Market. One popular item is belts created while customers wait, but they also carry tote bags, dog collars and more.
