| Thursday, April 11 – Today, AJR announced The Maybe Man Tour will return to Norfolk, VA’s Scope Arena on Sunday, June 23. The band’s first-ever arena tour, which officially kicked off in Philadelphia last week, has been captivating sold-out audiences with state-of-the-art production and multiple larger-than-life 3D optical illusions. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date. Tickets are on sale at https://www.ajrbrothers.com/tour/#/, Ticketmaster.com, and at the Scope Arena Box Office. “With any arena tour, each room is a little different and with a show as complicated as ours, some rooms require a little more advance work to build the show in the way it was intended to be experienced. We came to find out that our original production team was aware of challenges for the show in Norfolk and didn’t take the necessary steps to prepare,” AJR share. “We are so bummed this happened, but we’ve been working closely with the team at Scope Arena who’ve been amazing in helping us work out a solution and are ready to bring The Maybe Man back to Norfolk!” Their 49-date Live Nation promoted tour has sold over 400,000 tickets to date and continues through the spring and summer with stops at several legendary venues, including Austin’s Moody Center, Los Angeles’ Kia Forum, Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, and two nights at AJR’s hometown arena, Madison Square Garden. As part of their ongoing touring sustainability commitments, $1 for every ticket sold will go towards Planet Reimagined, a non-profit organization co-founded by AJR’s Adam Met.
