Join Norfolk Arts grantee, Riddick Dance for an evening of gospel, blues and spoken word as they honor the incredible women who have shaped our world with their strength, resilience, and grace. QUEENS is more than a concert – it’s a powerful tribute to the mothers, sisters, daughters, and trailblazers who have carried the weight of the world on their shoulders and emerged victorious.
Doors open at 4pm so that guests can visit the Gallery at the Attucks to see “Rhythm of the Stage”, a juried exhibition by Nyree Dowdy of the Chrysler Museum, featuring 44 original works of art by artists with a connection to Hampton Roads in response to the themes of movement, pattern and rhythm. On view through October 16.
