Birding with a Ranger

March 19 2025

9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Plum Point Park 331 Riverview Ave, Norfolk, VA 23510

Whether you’re casually taking note of your surroundings or travelling in search of birds to add to your checklist, people of all ages can enjoy birdwatching!

Join the Norfolk Park Rangers at Plum Point Park for Birding with a Ranger on March 19 as we learn about birds coming through the parks and how to identify them by sight and sound. We will spend about an hour walking leisurely through the park and along the Elizabeth River Trail looking for sparrow, warblers, birds of all kinds, and anything else that sparks our curiosity!

Bring your own binoculars or borrow from our limited supply. The route is mostly flat and paved. Dress for the weather; closed-toe shoes are recommended. All ages welcome!
