The Hampton Roads Harp Festival and Competition was founded in 2016 at Christopher Newport University; after several years at CNU, the Festival and Competition re-branded to reflect the move to Old Dominion University in 2022. We are the region’s largest harp festival and harp competition for young students, with performers and participants from across the globe. This year, we are excited to partner with the Virginia Symphony Orchestra to bring Maeve Gilchrist as our featured artist, and look forward to welcoming you either virtually or in person on March 16.
