Over the course of his legendary career, Jay Jenkins aka “Jeezy” has three #1 Billboard albums, sold more than five million albums worldwide and has had multiple chart-topping hits. At the age of 24, he released an indie album called “Thuggin’ Under Influence” with Lil J as his moniker. The following years, he spawned more mixtapes that impressively sold averagely around 100,000 copies within a year. Soon his name traveled to P. Diddy’s label, Bad Boy Records that signed him in 2004 as one part of rap group Boyz N Da Hood. With the boys, he released a self-titled album in 2005 that peaked at #5 on Billboard Hot 200 chart. Despite the success, he left the group and the label to go under Def Jam as a solo artist where he released a debut solo RIAA platinum album, Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, which pioneered the trap music genre. Through the following decade, he collected additional platinum and gold certifications, several Grammy Award nominations, an unbroken streak of Top Ten albums, and nine Top Ten singles as a featured and lead artist. Most recently, Jeezy released his album Pressure to rave reviews, a sold out nationwide tour and his staggering eighth album to debut in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart. While music is his talent, business is his passion. As an entrepreneur, new business ventures for Jeezy include multiple real estate properties, Defiance Fuel fitness water, a partnership with American Cut Steakhouse and his ongoing partnership with global spirits brand Tequila Avion. In 2018, Jeezy entered into an ongoing partnership with Figgers Wireless with the goal of democratizing technology by bringing state of the art handheld devices to market at affordable prices. Most recently, Jeezy announced that in February 2019 he will launch a full service sports management agency called Sports99. Additionally, Jeezy launched his charity Street Dreamz Foundation over 10 years ago to consistently be involved in improving the lives of those less fortunate in his hometown of Atlanta. For his continuous community service efforts, he has been awarded two Phoenix Awards from the city of Atlanta–the highest honor an individual or group can receive from the Mayor of Atlanta.
