Since opening in 1994, Nauticus has welcomed nearly four and a half million visitors and grown its campus to include the historic Battleship Wisconsin, Sail Nauticus sailing center, Schooner Virginia tall ship and Half Moone Cruise Terminal.
To celebrate three decades of sharing access to maritime resources through its engaging programs, exhibits and events, Nauticus will host a celebration this Sunday, June 30. Nauticus visitors can enjoy special programming, exploration of select indoor exhibit galleries (Norfolk in Time & Aquaticus), self-guided tours of the Battleship Wisconsin, and more. PLUS, the 3rd, 30th and 300th guest of the day will receive FREE admission for a YEAR! Event day programming is included in general admission tickets to Nauticus. As always, Nauticus members visit for FREE every day! Click here to purchase tickets.
On this 30th anniversary year, Nauticus is also looking towards the future as the “Reimagine Nauticus” Capital Campaign is set to be completed this fall. The transformational project consists of an entirely new visitor experience that includes the addition of five state-of-the-art exhibit galleries and a new entrance pavilion.
