Immerse yourself in art, ideas, color, and light. Yoga at the Chrysler Museum is a unique experience designed to be both restorative and illuminating. Join this easygoing practice that expands the mind, stretches the body, and is designed with you and the art in mind!
Guests are invited to an evening preview celebration of Architects of Being. A collection of sculptures, mixed media, and other works by artists Louise Nevelson and Esphyr Slobodkina that explores their identities as immigrant women and pioneers in abstraction and highlights their unique contributions to art history and their perseverance as creatives.

In this fused glass class, take traditional mosaic making to a new place. Learn to cut glass and use tile nippers to create imagery. In a paint-by-numbers style, small bits of colored glass will be arranged to fill the design of your choice. The gaps between the pieces are filled with glass powder, and then everything is melted in a kiln. Unlike traditional mosaics, which are opaque and involve glue and grout, this process uses only glass and results in a transparent, double-sided object.

Spend an afternoon at the Glass Studio melting solid glass rods over a torch to make marbles. Heat, gravity, and simple graphite tools bring your marbles to life. Once you have learned the basics of shaping clear glass, you can create colorful glass marbles.
