Fused Jewelry at the Perry Glass Studio

Chrysler Museum Glass Studio 245 Grace St Norfolk, Virginia 23510, Price: $80 for Museum members, $100 for non-members

Using a combination of glass sheets and stringers (thin rods of glass), create a set of earrings and a pendant. Learn to cut sheet glass and create a design to be fused in a kiln. One set of earring hooks and a necklace chain are included.

  • Ages 12 +
  • $80 for Museum members, $100 for non-members
  • We will contact you when your art is ready for pick up or shipment.
  • A full refund or rescheduling may only be granted if written notice is provided five or more days from the scheduled event. Class times are fixed, any arrivals 15 minutes or more after start time may not be accommodated. Please email studio@chrysler.org to cancel your registration.
  • No refunds will be granted retroactively for missed classes.

Led by GSA students involved in the Wearable Arts Show and supported by GSA faculty, this unique class will focus on fashion embellishment. Inspired by Architects of Being, participants will embellish an article of clothing to learn how color, materials, and creativity combine into individual style.

Join us for a FREE community event celebrating sustainability and the spirit of adventure! Bring your gently used biking, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, running gear, and more to Sail Nauticus on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10AM–4PM and give it new life.

Whether you’re clearing out your gear closet or looking for your next treasure, this is your chance to swap, share, and connect with fellow outdoor lovers.

What to Expect:
• Bring up to 10 gently used outdoor items to swap.
• Check in at the registration table for your door prize ticket.
• Lay out your gear, browse the tables, and enjoy the fun!
• Leftover gear will be donated to a local organization to help those in need.
