ERNEST @ The NorVa

February 28 2026

6:00 p.m
The NorVA 317 Monticello Ave, Norfolk, VA 23510 Price: Prices May Vary

Nashville’s most unpredictable hitmaker ERNEST is “The Charmer” (MusicRow), a triple threat talent and one of Music City’s on the rise artist/writers who is changing the status quo. A 2022 Variety Hitmaker, the chart-topping songwriter fuses influences ranging from Eminem to George Jones, crafting a twist-heavy verse style that’s become his signature, proving its mettle, and earning him eight #1 hits to date. The eccentric free spirit and 2022 CMA Triple Play Award winner will release the deluxe edition of his critically acclaimed album FLOWER SHOPS (THE ALBUM) on February 10, 2023, rebranding the collection FLOWER SHOPS (THE ALBUM): Two Dozen Roses, doubling its track list with 13 fresh cuts. The March 2022-released original has been praised as one of Holler and The Tennessean‘s best albums of the year, showcasing the more classically country side of his craft. Nashville’s “busiest – and most consistently successful – creative force” (The Tennessean) wrapped his first-ever sold-out headlining Sucker For Small Towns Tour this past fall, and will hit the road in March as direct support on Morgan Wallen’s One Night At A Time World Tour.

Monster Energy Presents: Cash Cobain - Party with Slizzy

February 24 2026

6:00 p.m
The NorVA 317 Monticello Ave, Norfolk, VA 23510 Price: Prices May Vary

This show has been rescheduled from Wednesday September 10 to Tuesday February 24, 2026. Ticketholders – there is nothing you need to do, your original tickets are valid for the new date and will be honored at the door.

Leading up to his highly-anticipated summer LP Play Cash Cobain, Billboard Rookie of the Month and 2024 XXL Freshman Cash Cobain is a multi-hyphenate rapper and producer known as the originator of “sample drill”, a sound that has transformed the identity of the genre in NYC by introducing 90s R&B, 2000s pop, and even gospel through his impeccable ear for chopping up recognizable samples and placing them over bouncy production. Cobain has been on a landmark “slizzy summer” single run with the Ice Spice-assisted (“Fisherrr” (feat. BaySwag) (40M Streams), who he’s slated to open for on her upcoming Y2K! World Tour, “Grippy” (12M Streams) with J.Cole, and most recently, “Rump Punch” (5M Streams). In June, Cobain secured his Billboard Hot 100 debut with Don Toliver’s new single “Attitude” alongside Charlie Wilson (56M Streams) following a career-minting 2023 year that saw him release his critically-acclaimed debut solo album Pretty Girls Love Slizzy with Giant Music. Previous months also saw Cobain produce Drake’s “Calling For You” (feat. 21 Savage), which debuted at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100, and PinkPantheress’ “Nice To Meet You” (feat. Central Cee), which debuted at #20 on the Billboard Hot 100 (he recently starred alongside her in a nationally-syndicated Apple commercial for the new MacBook), as well as DJ Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack x Audemars Piguet event. Cobain’s reach has spanned well beyond NYC, with his style of reinventing samples crossing the pond to the UK on the production for Central Cee’s 2021 track “Daily Duppy” (50M+ Streams). He’s also received co-signs from international superstars like Lil Uzi Vert & Frank Ocean, who used his song “JHOLIDAY” (5.2M Streams) in a Homer Ad. The success of his breakthrough production placement on B-Lovee’s 2021 hit song “My Everything” (42M+ Streams), on which he flipped a classic Mary J. Blige record, burst open the doors for New York drill to flourish – even inspiring Cardi B to revisit her Bronx roots and participate in the trend on Kay Flock’s “Shake It”. An auteur of the playful sexy drill sound he’s helped to pioneer as well as the Slizzy Movement that he’s now taking to mainstream heights, Cobain has since teased potential collaborations with Frank Ocean, Travis Scott, Lil Yachty and more –– a sure sign of the worldwide stardom soon to come

Today the band consists of founding member, lead vocalist and guitarist Joshua Swain , bassist Jason Schmidt , drummer Gary Jackson, keyboardist/multi-instrumentalist Matt Goodwin, and saxophonist/percussionist Kyle Jerome . Their seventh studio album, Ways Of The World (2019) debuted at #1 in the Billboard Reggae Chart, and remained in the Billboard Reggae Top 10 for more than 40 consecutive weeks. The band’s eighth studio album Always With Me – out July 29, 2022 on the band’s R4RE Records imprint – explores new musical territory while staying true to their champion sound. Collie Buddz @ The NorVa

January 29 2026

6:00 p.m
The NorVA 317 Monticello Ave, Norfolk, VA 23510 Price: Prices May Vary

Colin Patrick Harper hails from the Bermuda Islands. In the music industry, he is known as the reggae artist Collie Buddz. Buddz was born on August 21, 1984 in New Orleans, Louisiana. After graduating from high school, he attended Full Sail University in Orlando, FL, where he decided to study studio engineering. Upon graduating from college in 2006, Buddz began looking for work in the recording industry as a performer or producer. One of his first major gigs was working with recording star Shaggy on the single “Mad Mad World” from Shaggy’s new album entitled Intoxication, which was release in 2007. That was the same year he released his self-titled debut album with Sony Music. The album was a moderate success, but well-received by critics. WWE (World Wrestling Enterprises) fans would immediately recognize Buddz’s voice from the entrance theme (“SOS”) for WWE superstar wrestler Kofi Kingston, which was included on the 2008 compilation WWE The Music, Vol. 8. Over the next year, he would continue making guest appearances on the works of other artists. It is no small coincidence that his stage name “Buddz” is slang for marijuana. There have been photographs taken of the artist holding bongs and other pot-smoking paraphernalia over the years. Of course, other reggae artist such as Bob Marley have made weed seem an essential part of the reggae lifestyle. At the end of the decade, Buddz started his own record label called Harper Digital. When not working in the studio, he found himself selling out venue after venue on one of his many exhaustive tours. In 2011, he would finally release his second album entitled Playback. As was the case with the first album, this album was a modest success commercially, but the critics loved his work. With a couple of albums and a good reputation under his belt, Buddz is a frequent performer at many of the major reggae festivals around the world.

More recently he has been in the studio finishing up his most recent fully self produced album ‘Hybrid’ which will be coming out in the Spring of 2019. Singles from the album like ‘Love & Reggae’ and ‘Bounce It’ have already topped charts and given fans a good insight into how the rest of the album will sound.
