UniverSoul Circus returns to the Hampton Roads region this week with its jaw-dropping stunts, aerialists, fire breathers, stilt dancers and the coolest clowns around! The internationally acclaimed circus – which opens Thursday (June 5) at 7 p.m. under the big top next to Military Circle Mall – brings together world-class talent in a high-energy, interactive cultural celebration filled with vibrant music, dance, costumes, comedy and more. The show will run through June 22.
Opening night kicks off with a special “City of Norfolk”-themed evening – featuring Mayor Kenneth Cooper Alexander – plus a pre-show performance by the New Generation Marching Band at 6:30 p.m. The fun continues Friday with “Pastors United Night” plus a pre-show performance by Dance Dimensions. On Saturday, the D.N.D. Dance Team and Significant Dream Queenz will provide entertainment before the noon show, and the Nurvouz Dance Team and Karma Cuties will perform before the noon show on Sunday.
