On the fourth Friday in the months of March to November, volunteers can join the Master Gardeners to help beautify the Elizabeth River Trail and learn more about the native plant species found along the Trail!
- Bring your own weeding tools and garden gloves!
- Support the Trail
- Meet new people
- Learn about plants and plant care with local experts!
Locations will be announced during the week before the event in the Trail Beautification Day Facebook event page discussion. Locations we rotate between include:
- Plum Point Park (ERT- Fort Norfolk section)
- ERT Fitness Course (ERT – Fort Norfolk section)
- ERT Managed Meadow (ERT – Chelsea section)
- ERT Donor Sculpture by the Pagoda (ERT – Freemason section)
- MicroFarm in Lambert’s Point (ERT – Lambert’s Point section)
