Swifties of all ages who missed the Eras tour or those who can’t get enough of Taylor Swift’s music can experience her biggest hits in an outdoor, concert-style setting at the Virginia Zoo’s ZooGrooves: Zoo Eras Tour from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, September 13.
In addition to a night full of music and dance party provided by Melody & Co. Entertainment, tickets to ZooGrooves will include a variety of activities including animal encounters, friendship-bracelet making, a themed vendor market, a “costume” contest, photo opportunities at each “Zoo Era,” food trucks, bounce houses and, of course, a visit to the Zoo. Bounce houses, Taylor-Swift-themed Night Train rides and vendors will be available at an extra cost.
The event is suited for guests of all ages.
Guests are encouraged to come dressed inspired by their favorite Taylor Swift “era” for a chance to win Zoo-themed prizes at the “Best Dressed Fearless Costume Contest” taking place at 7:30 p.m. Attendees 21+ will also be able to indulge in some limited edition, specialty themed cocktails like “Lover-Berry Delight” and “Fearless-Golden Fairytale.”
Tickets can be purchased online at: virginiazoo.org/event/zoogrooves-8/. Advanced ticket prices are $18 for Non-Member Adults (12+), $13 for Non-Member Children, $8 for both Zoo Member Adults and Children; children under 2 years are free. Ticket prices will increase starting Monday, September 9. If tickets are still available on the day of the event, gate sales will be credit card
only. More event information and updates can be found on the Virginia Zoo’s website under the “Events” tab. The event will take place rain or shine.
