The 757’s most exciting family festival, the Virginia Children’s Festival presented by Sentara Health Plans on Saturday, October 4, 2025 features more than 100 fun, creative, and interactive activities, including hands-on workshops, cultural experiences, military demonstrations, costumed characters, storytelling, musical performances, dance lessons, and much more! The festival is designed with children 10 and younger in mind.

The nineth annual Virginia Symphony Orchestra Concert in the Park presented by The Perry Family Foundation and TowneBank is Sunday, July 20, from 6pm to 10pm (show starts at 8:30pm) at Town Point Park along the Downtown Norfolk Waterfront.
Produced by Norfolk Festevents, admission to the concert is free and open to the public. The evening will include gourmet artisan foods and beverages for purchase. Town Point Park will open at 6pm for pre-concert picnics.

The Norfolk Waterfront Jazz Festival is the area’s longest-running outdoor jazz festival and for the 42nd annual edition, the festival features a star-studded cast of some of the biggest names on the international smooth jazz scene. The two-day festival will be held Friday & Saturday, August 22 & 23, 2025 in a beautiful summertime setting at Town Point Park along the Downtown Norfolk Waterfront.

Sullivan King makes music to rage to. As a producer, guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter he fuses dubstep and rock creating his own space in the electronic and alternative scenes. Sullivan King’s unique live show finds the artist shredding on guitar, singing, DJing, and jumping into the pit. After finishing up his recent Loud & Reckless NA tour celebrating the release of his debut album LOUD, the King has a summer full of festivals including Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza Paris, Hard Summer, and Ilesoniq to name a few. Sullivan King has previously worked with Excision, Aaron Gillespie (Underoath), Papa Roach, Jason Aalon (Fever 333), Ice Nine Kills, Slander, Subtronics, Kayzo, Kill The Noise, and has several upcoming collaborations with heavyweight names in both the Electronic and Hard Rock world. “Raised on a diet of as much post-hardcore as dubstep, he’s setting out to bring the rock and EDM communities together in a way that no-one has done before.” – Jack Rogers, Rock Sound
