Storybook Tea Party - Rose Theme

Join us in the WOW Children’s Garden for a rose-themed tea party and story time. Don’t forget to bring your favorite stuffed animal! Recommended for ages 3+. Light refreshments are included for registered children. All attending adults and children are required to have a registered ticket.

Price for NBG Members: $14/child. Adult members may attend for free with a registered child.
Price for Not-yet Members: $22/child and $20/adult. Tickets for class must be purchased for both children and adults and includes daytime admission to NBG.
Children under 3 years old are not required to have a ticket; however, a ticket must be registered if children under 3 years old are participating in the program.

Family Twilight Trek - Frog Night

Meet staff in the WOW Children’s Garden to learn all about the frogs who live in the Garden before going on an exclusive, after-hours sunset tour of the Garden! Recommended for children ages 5+ with caregiver participation. All attending adults and children are required to have registered tickets.

Moderate walking required – program includes an approximately 1 mile walk through the Garden.
Price for NBG Members: $12/child and $5/adult.
Price for Not-yet Members: $20/child and $16/adult (tickets for class must be purchased for both children and adults and includes daytime admission to NBG).
All participating children ages 3-17 and attending adults must have a paid, pre-registered ticket for the program. If children 2 and under are participating in the program, they must have a registered child ticket.

Shake, rattle, and roll with us in the WOW Children’s Garden as you play instruments to learn about sound, rhythm, and movement. Recommended for ages 3+ with adult chaperone assistance. This program is an NBG Member exclusive program and requires pre-registration. NBG Members must register their child ticket(s) to attend. Walk-up availability may not be available. Members are advised to pre-register. Upon arriving at the Garden, guests are required to show their NBG membership for entry.

Mixtape is a free community event, currently funded by The Art Bridges Foundation Access for All initiative.

Film Break Society at Mixtape: Film Break  Society offers curated screenings of classic restorations and under-the-radar contemporaries. This month they are screening Ryuichi Sakamoto: Opus (2023). Film Break Society is a ticketed portion of Mixtape. Tickets available at the door. $5 for museum members, (with valid member ID card)$10 for non-members.

Glass After Dark: Visiting Artist Series – Helen Lee and Ruth Tamura

Hot glass and live music come together for memorable evenings during Glass After Dark. Each month, watch the Perry Glass Studio team take the molten material to exciting places and enjoy entertainment by local musicians.

Helen Lee is an artist, designer, and educator. She holds an MFA in Glass from RISD and a BSAD in Architecture from MIT. Her work is in the collections of Minnesota Museum of American Art, Corning Museum of Glass, Chrysler Museum Glass Studio, and Toyama City Institute of Glass Art. Recent exhibitions include: Exuviae at Art Lit Lab, Through a Glass Darkly at Delaware Contemporary, and Momentum | Intersection at Toledo Museum of Art. Lee has taught at Rhode Island School of Design, California College of Art, Pilchuck Glass School, Haystack Mountain School of Craft, Ox-Bow School of Art, China Academy of Art, Toyama City Institute of Glass Art and the MIT Glass Lab. She is currently an Associate Professor and Head of Glass in the Art Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and proudly serves as the Director of GEEX, the Glass Education Exchange

Doors open at 7 p.m. The event begins at 8 p.m.
