Old Dominion University Advanced Degree Commencement

We are pleased to inform you that Old Dominion University will be conducting Commencement ceremonies at Chartway Arena on May 15, 2026 at 6:00 PM for the Spring Class of 2026 – Advanced Degree Ceremony for all colleges and schools.

All ceremonies will be live-streamed for friends and family unable to attend in person. The videos will be archived. Links will be provided closer to the date of the event.


Tickets will be required for all guests attending each ceremony. Tickets are only distributed to qualifying graduating students. All children over the age of 2 require a ticket.

S.B. Ballard Stadium 5115 Hampton Boulevard, Norfolk, Virginia 23529, Price: Must have a ticket to enter

We are pleased to inform you that Old Dominion University will be conducting Commencement ceremonies at S.B. Ballard Stadium on May 16, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. for the Spring Class of 2026 – Ceremony for Bachelor’s Degrees from all colleges and schools.

All ceremonies will be live-streamed for friends and family unable to attend in person. The videos will be archived. Links will be provided closer to the date of the event.


Tickets will be required for all guests attending each ceremony. Tickets are only distributed to qualifying graduating students. All children over the age of 2 require a ticket.

There is no Auxiliary Seating location for S.B. Ballard Stadium. Please join us in celebrating your graduate online through the ODU website on the day of the ceremony at www.odu.edu.

FREE Rabies Vaccinations at Norfolk Public Health

Norfolk Department of Public Health will be offering FREE rabies vaccinations to local pet owners to celebrate the spring season and promote pet wellness.

Event Details:
• When: Saturday, April 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Where: 830 Southampton Ave., Norfolk, VA 23510
• Highlights: Free vaccines (while supplies last) and swag giveaways.

Key Requirements for Attendees:
• Pets must be at least 12 weeks old.
• Dogs must be on leashes; cats must be in carriers.
• To receive a 3-year vaccine, owners must bring a previous rabies certificate. Otherwise, a 1-year vaccine will be provided.
• Vaccines are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
