Family Twilight Trek - Firefly Night

Meet staff in the WOW Children’s Garden to learn about the behavior and lifecycle of fireflies before going on an exclusive, after-hours sunset tour of the Garden! Recommended for children ages 5+ with caregiver participation. All attending adults and children are required to have registered tickets.

Moderate walking required – program includes an approximately 1 mile walk through the Garden.

Price for NBG Members: $12/child and $5/adult.
Price for Not-yet Members: $20/child and $16/adult (tickets for class must be purchased for both children and adults and includes daytime admission to NBG).
All participating children ages 3-17 and attending adults must have a paid, pre-registered ticket for the program. If children 2 and under are participating in the program, they must have a registered child ticket.

Truth Be Told Final Launch of the ERT Season: Stories Under the Stars

Join us for a one-of-a-kind evening along the Elizabeth River Trail as we celebrate the final launch of Truth Be Told Season 5 with Stories Under the Stars.

Set against the backdrop of the trail at the Larchmont Library, this outdoor gathering brings together storytelling and community. Arrive early to grab your spot on the lawn, snag some food from the vendors, participate in some Double Dutch jump roping fun, and settle in before the stories begin. As the sun sets, our storytellers will begin sharing their Elizabeth River Trail based stories.

Bring a blanket or chair, invite a friend, and get ready for an evening that celebrates the voices, community and stories that shape Norfolk. Come early, stay awhile and experience the ERT in a whole new way! Check out the event webpage.

Recommended for ages 18-months to 3 years old with significant chaperone assistance. This is an NBG Member exclusive program that requires pre-registered (purchased) tickets.

Keyshawn will face Philadelphia’s Nahir Albright in a 12-round super lightweight rematch on Saturday, May 16, at Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia.

In the 10-round welterweight co-feature, former world champion Brian Norman Jr. returns against Canada’s Josh Wagner.

Undercard action includes Keyshawn’s older brother, Kelvin Davis, in a 10-round welterweight fight, while younger brother, Keon Davis, sees action in a six-rounder in the same division.

Keyshawn-Albright II and Norman-Wagner will be streamed live on DAZN.

It will also cover an explanation of each dimension and ideas on what steps could be taken in order to reach the larger goal.

• Outside props are NOT permitted. Leave the birdseed at home. Prop kits will be available for purchase at the show for $5.

• Parking is available behind the theater off Spotswood Avenue and Shirley Avenue. There is also a large lot across from Blair Middle School on Colley Avenue, plus ample street parking.
